Home Tour

Hi there!

Welcome to my blog.  I recently started blogging again (and finding other awesome blogs to read), and since I'm looking for some post inspiration, I decided it would be appropriate to link up with Andrea today who is doing a Home Tour for "Show & Tell Tuesdays."

Here's a little peek into my townhouse.  These pictures were taken right after I moved in, so some rooms are not fully decorated and/or a little messy, and it was was night, so there's no natural light.  Enjoy! :)

 Family Room
I have no clue why I chose the red and black decor...it just kind of came together and I ended up liking it.

Eating Area

I had the cabinets refinished before moving in.  The next project (hopefully by the end of this year) will be to install granite counter tops, a back-splash, and a new sink.  I'm thinking something in the beige/tan/brownish family for the granite color.

Powder Room

Guest Bedroom
I still have to decorate this room and get a frame for the bed.  It's been hard finding a low-profile frame for the bed, since I don't want a huge frame that covers the windows.  I love having natural light come through.  If anyone has some great suggestions on where to find a low-profile frame, please let me know!

 Guest Bathroom

Master Bedroom
I've since decorated and hung up some paintings on the walls.  Sadly, I can't hang anything over my bed directly, because we are so prone to earthquakes here in California.

Master Closet
My dad put in this custom closet in for me.  He jokes that I planned it around the number of shoes I have (which is partially the truth).  He sketched it out (I'm lucky he's an architect), helped me pick out the pieces I needed from Home Depot, and then assembled it with the help of my brother.  Thanks dad!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful Tuesday. :)

  1. I love how your bar stools and kitchen table chairs match! What a nice space you have here.

  2. Hey Jasmin...another coffee lover here! Can't live without it.

I love the pops of red you have in your living room. Red is my favorite color to add in. It's a happy color.

    1. Thanks Stacey! Yes, thank goodness for coffee! It makes my mornings bearable. :)

  3. I love you red, black and white color scheme. I love changing my colors to those in the Winter months.

    1. Me too! Thanks for stopping by. :)

  4. I love your closet! I am obsessed with organized spaces, and your closet is nice. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thank you! Me too, organizing is therapeutic to me. :)
