Steak: It's What's for Dinner

I made a pretty good steak last week. I'm finding that the secret to a good steak is making sure the pan is super hot before putting the steak in it to cook it, and making sure I only cook each side about 10 to 12 minutes to get that perfect medium texture. Also, marinating the steak is a must! Here is a recipe that I love. Make sure you marinade for at least two hours for best results. Bon appetit!


Steak Marinade (from AllRecipes)
Recipe makes 1 cup marinade

Ingredients
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1. Mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and garlic in a small bowl.
2. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Marinade for at least two hours for best taste.
