It wasn't hot...

...it was scorching hot today, according to my car...and that was at 4 pm. California summer has begun with full force. Today would have been a perfect beach day. Ah, work, how you ruin my fun.

    wow! at least you have a beach nearby...

    thank goodness it's starting to cool down here in TN. our heat index has been well over 100 for the last month, but the last couple of days have been heavenly
