Velvety goodness

Is it just me, or are cupcakes the new "in" thing? Here in L.A. there is Sprinkles, while in N.Y.C. Crumbs is the hip cupcakery. And both are equally good, I might add.

Yesterday at work, in honor of all the October birthdays, we had Halloween decorated cupcakes, so I was happily hyper the rest of the afternoon from the sugar rush. My favorite cupcake flavor is red velvet with creme cheese frosting, which is just what I had! I think my wedding cake (when the time comes) will be red velvet. :D
