I spent the day today wine tasting with my friend in Middleburg, Virginia, for my birthday. There are several wineries in this area, yet based on recommendations of friends, we decided to go tasting at Chrysalis Vineyards. After sampling a few whites and reds, we sat outside and enjoyed the views, which were amazing!
The wine tasting was followed by lunch at the Red Fox Inn, which was established in 1728. The original stone structure still remains, and the inn is included in the National Register of Historic Places. The inn served as both a headquarters and a hospital for the Confederates during the Civil War. Today, it is an award-winning inn and a nationally renowned restaurant that is open every day of the year.
Below are some pictures taken with my camera phone. Unfortunately, I forgot my USB chord at home, so I am unable to upload any of the pictures taken via my camera until I'm back home in L.A.
