Hotel Review: JW Marriott Dessert Springs Resort & Spa

JW Marriott Desert Springs, situated in Palm Dessert, California, is a resort and spa that has two golf courses, a wellness spa, and several amazing on-site restaurants. The grounds have waterways that can be traversed by gondola boats and a charming flamingo island, where you can see flamingos casually lounging around. The property also features numerous tennis courts, five resort-style pools, and fitness amenities.

Pros:

-Close proximity to downtown Palm Springs and shopping (Desert Hills Premium Outlets are a must-visit for those who love designer fashion).

-The grounds are massive and beautiful. Just walking around is amazing.

-There is no need to leave the resort because there is plenty to do (spa treatments, working out, golf, tennis, gondola rides, lounging at the pool, etc.)

-Several excellent restaurants on-site to choose from.
Exotic birds to view indoors and outdoors.

Cons:

-The rooms look a bit outdated and could use a remodel. They are standard; nothing fancy.

-Depending on what time a year you go, the pool area can get crowded.

Fun fact:

A few Saved by the Bell episodes were filmed here (they were the episodes where Jessie's father was getting married). However, the hotel has undergone renovation since then and looks a little bit different. It's still a cool fact to know, since Saved by the Bell was one of my favorite shows growing up and I distinctly remember those episodes.

Have a great day!
